Titanium Hei Hei

Hi there,

Any recommendations on how best to clean up a Titanium frame? I have seen somewhere that scotch brite pads can be used and wondered if anyone here has tried this before I potentially ruin my Hei Hei.

I’ve done a few Ti frames with scotchbrite pads and it’s fairly easy. Just make sure you rub in the direction of the brushed finish. And make sure your frame is brushed in the first place. Once done use GT85 on a cloth to get all the black crap off the frame

Top Man, do you wet the pad or do it dry?

Dry.

It will Create lots of black dust so I now do it outside. Start at one end of a tube and work along. It’s quite therapeutic actually. Once happy GT85 on a rag but wiping in same directions as before.
