Beautiful evening ride today on the still new-ish BigWheel bike. Lake Lagunitas loop and then Sleepy Hollow Ridge at sunset.

Pat - I got so many pics from that ride I'd need to start a separate thread to fit them all in.

Anyway, the fjord ship brought me to Gudvangen and that's where the first picture's from. From there I just rode on w/o a map or GPS on roads I never ridden on b4. Quite an adventure. It took me all the way to Dale some 6 hours later and it was one of the most beautiful rides I ever had. Here's some pics from the first 3 hours, Gudvangen - Voss.

Indeed they held my dear Warwick! The roads in Norway are so smooth you don't need tires to ride them. All that thanks to the oil I guess. The oil they stole from Scotland (or was it United Kingdom?) ... just like all that cod and herring.

The Norwegian route looks epic also. One to add to the to-do list.

Today-Friday-Beautiful 80 F. Summer day-Random shots from the ride today, down to SF Bay and back-the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame Museum in downtown Fairfax is coming right along, took some pics in passing today-quite a large space, looking forward to it's completion and opening...

DC, the museum should be opening in the next few months---Today-Sunday-A nice day for a ride up into the Water District, lots of hikers, runners, dog walkers, and horse people about. We rode up to the Magic Bridge and down towards Alpine Lake when my ride partner's chain snapped :shock: -as we didn't have a chain tool with us it was back across the bridge and the Big Meadow and then, fortunately, downhill all the way back to Fairfax...
