That Marin is lovely, imo nicer colour way than the Klein. Understated, cool and retro, yet would look great today. Stands the test of time.

Yeah, I somewhat agree. I think that the paint scheme of a bike should be able to be enjoyed from a distance of few to ten meters. Not going to minuscule artistical details. The Klein painting is airbrush painting artistry, the Marin painting is a recognizable paint scheme straight from the early 90's.
