Badminton was always a big let down for me too.
In fact most racquet sports have left me feeling deflated. I don't think I could handle the pressure.

Ive had phantom punctures before now, and more than one occaision, puncture on a ride then go to repair the tube once home only to find that there is nowhere it is punctured, water tested and alsorts!
Just one of those things, possibly your bikes way of saying "oi, nobhead, ride me more often"
