It all seems to go together nicely. Last time I managed to afford XT was 1991! Just fitted a set to my Dad’s old Trek 930. I haven’t ever seen these before.

I don't think those are original to the hub? Looks like some type of dropout alignment thing? Maybe one of those "security" tabs?

That's a 738-A model with its standard end, oddly when it has the normal looking pop on end (big and just round) it is for suspension forks.

Yes that is all as it is supposed to be.
