Why is my flat so messy??

Some people (mum etc..) feel like my flat is messy, because i have 4 bikes and 2 BMX's stuffed in it. They are in my bathroom, kitchen and front room. They have taken over. But I just can't bear the thought of them being outside in the rain. Some people have pets. I just have frames and cranks and things. Am I mad? They all think that. I don't mind using a classic old-skool BMX as a towel rack, he's happy there. Even if it does make having a shower a mission. Hay, it's a heated towel rack. When i was a nipper and had hamsters, they never had a heated towel rack. Between you & me & the gatepost, i'd say it has a good life. Fkd if you do, Fkd if you don't. I just love the smell of GT85 in the morning lol...

Sounds good to me. Don't change. My last flat had bikes in most rooms. Now house sharing. Have 3 in the bedroom. And one on the wardrobe. Along with all the other bike related stuff. It's a case of love me love my bikes

I used to live in a shared house and at one point there were 11 bikes inside the house plus motorbikes etc. in the garage.

I wouldn't keep one in the bathroom though, think of what the humidity is doing to it!

I think you're bonkers. I spend £270 per month on a storage unit to keep flat looking tidy, yeah I only have 4 bikes in the bedroom, one on the communal landing, the other 5 are 80 miles away.

Heated towel rack Tall mate! It's toasty lol, unlike my front room.. The bikes seem to get preferential treatment to me.. But they are my friends. I am mad, but lovin' it! Did you guys see what Jake & Lewis did at the weekend? Nutbars lolol......

hmmn, i wish i could do that :o(

I was lucky to get my deposit back when i left. Just couldn't get the dried mud and oil stains out of the carpets either. No way would i leave my bikes out side or in some shed all winter :x

I'm a lucky git, i own my flat. But sometimes i wonder if the bikes take over. I just can't bear throwing things away.. Trouble is, the more you have, the more likely you are to lose things. God, the amount of times i've had to replace tools just cos i cant find'em. I just got dumped a few weeks ago, she said it was partially cos my bed was being used as a stumpjumper set-up, and she didn't like sleeping on the floor lol!! Her loss lol, the bike was for her

There is more room in my 5 outside stores than inside my pokey flat. With all that room I think my bikes get the better deal even if they don't get the heating. They refuse to pay a share of the heating bills anyway so they can just rust :x

Who you calling mad.......

every now and then i come home from work and the mrs has sprung a suprise attack on me but it is usually when we are having people over. the spare room has 2 bikes on a rack. i keep my daily in the kitchen so it is a quick and easy escape when i am late for work
