Here's a picture of my Yeti FRO taken in 1994. I found the pic deep in a wardrobe! The frame is from the late 80's and has a 1" headset and a rare round top tube (you can't tell in the pics but I will take more!).
Full XT groupset (with lovely thumbie lovelyness) except

Tyres look like a smoke light on the front, can't remember on the back
Here she is again, probably in 1996 looking at the room (2nd year carpet at Uni!) with Panaracer Smoke and Dart Magic (if I recall correctly). Looks like I was fitting new shifters and V-brakes at the time (no front brake).
Also, check the Mag 21s. Totally inappropriate for the geometry, but good fun at the time.
I've now found the thumbies, handlebar, 2 finger levers, canti's, and got some retro style wheels for a rebuild with the XT kit from my other Pro FRO
