those are usable although unloved at the minute. the small one with maguras is a cheap merlin alloy frame i bought to keep me going between bikes.

now the eiger its in a bit of a mess and its been resprayed a few times but its an awsome ride. very low bb and relaxed head tube for a mountain bike so its super stable at speed even if the steering isn`t as sharp as more modern stuff.

the saracen also has really narrow chain stays so its 1.9`s only on the back. iirc it also runs a narrower rear hub width.

old but i like it. will build it up some day.

thanks makster i love it too. it was my first mountain bike and the one i had the most fun on. i`ve been searching the site and i`ve found a pic of the bike as it was.

this bike belongs to heathy but his is a kili flyer and in a lot better nick. now i was 99% certain mine is an eiger 100% sure its braized and 100% sure its tange prestige.

so question is did the eiger and kili flyer share the same frame and does anyone have any spec data for them.

looks like i`ll be rebuilding this asap. some great inspiration on this site, cheers guys. lee.

Welcome!
Love that Saracen frame 8)

Too true, the Eiger looks like a smashing bit of kit, I need one. I also need me one of those vans!

i wouldn`t know where to look for an eiger but the syncro vans can still be found although there not cheap. entry camper £8,000 mine would cost £11k to build without labour and i still haven`t done the engine conversion yet.
