Roy Thame re-build info

Anyone have any info or history in this frame. Not sure of it's age or whether it's worth building up as a retro. It's full 531 and Roy Thame, putney but that's all I know. Thanks in advance. Lee

There's quite a bit about Roy Thame going it alone from Holdsworths back in 1975 but not a whole lot if info on his frames aside from the odd pic and scan of adverts.

Pics by the usuasl trick of uploading to photo bucket, tinypic and the like and pasting the link. If its just the link then highlight in the full editor sand click IMG.

Hi. Looks like a typical 80's frame with cutout lugs, cinelli mc style fork crown, under bb and top tube cable guides. Any number under the bottom bracket. Its 531c according to the sticker which rides well.

I see you have posted on the his much thread..... How about £80 on a good day?

I've got a Roy Thame frame but not 100% sure it is as its stamped 69115, usually meaning a 1969 frame but he didn't get going till later, another mystery old frame lol

i have had 2 both more tourers rather than racing machines both rode very nicely but both seem to have suffered with poor paint quality

My Roy Thame was ridden in the 70's by TT John Winter I have been told, just have to try and track him down :)
